Jordanian Recipes
I'm sharing with you authentic Jordanian food recipes that are easy to make at home. I even have some healthy substitutes. All of these Arabic recipes may not have originated in Jordan, but they are very common throughout all of Jordan. You will see them at popular restaurants in Amman, and small family homes in Madaba.
In the Middle East, Jordan is a country known for its warmth and hospitality. When guests come over, food, drinks, coffee, and desserts are served.
What is Jordanian food?
Jordan is a country in the Middle East that borders Syria, Iraq, Saudi Arabia and Egypt. Due to Jordan's location in the Levant region, it has culinary influences from not only the Middle East, but also Iran and the Mediterranean. This is why you might see some recipes that are very similar to Greek food, Turkish food, and North African food!
Like musakhan is technically a Palestinian dish, many Jordanians make it frequently as one of their main meals!
