Iced Brown Sugar Soy Milk Shaken Espresso

My iced brown sugar soy milk shaken espresso is a twist on Starbucks popular oatmilk shaken espresso drink! I used soy milk in place of oat milk and reduced the sugar. I also used high quality vanilla extract, cinnamon, and dark roast coffee beans for a rich bold flavored shaken espresso with much less sugar!

  • 1 tablespoon organic brown sugar sub manuka honey or pure vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 shots espresso
  • 1 cup soy milk, vanilla unsweetened can also sub milk of choice
  • Ice

How to make the lightened up Starbucks brown sugar "syrup"

  • In a small mason jar or cocktail shaker, add a couple of ice cubes, 1 tablespoon dark brown sugar, ½ teaspoon vanilla, ¼ teaspoon cinnamon, and 2 shots of espresso.
  • Cover and shake well till the sugar is dissolved.

How to make the Starbucks copycat brown sugar soy milk shaken espresso:

  • In a medium sized glass, pour the iced sweetened espresso.
  • Add more ice cubes to fill about half way.
  • Fill to the top with soy milk.
  • Stir and enjoy!
