For the pumpkin spice steel cut oats:

Optional sweeteners:

  • cup dark brown sugar, honey, or maple syrup

Toppings:

  • Milk of choice
  • Chopped nuts of choice I love pecans or walnuts with this
  • Flax seeds for healthy fats!

Instructions
 

  • In your instant pot, add 1 cup steel cut oats, ½ cup pumpkin puree, 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, ¼ teaspoon pink sea salt, and 3 cups of water.
    Add any optional sweeteners as well.
    Stir well to combine.
  • Secure the instant pot lid and turn the steam vent to sealing (natural release).
    Cook on high pressure for 10 minutes.
    Allow the oats to naturally release for 10 minutes.
  • After 10 minutes, turn the steam valve to venting (quick release) to release the rest of the pressure.
  • Stir your oats to combine and they are ready to serve!
