Ingredients
  

  • 6 apples, chopped leave skin on
  • ¼ cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • teaspoon ground cloves
  • teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • pinch pink sea salt

Instructions
 

  • In a crockpot, add all of your ingredients: 6 chopped apples, ¼ cup apple cider vinegar, 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, ⅛ teaspoon ground nutmeg, ⅛ teaspoon ground cloves, and a pinch of pink sea salt.
    Cover your crockpot with a lid and cook on low heat for 5-6 hours.
  • After 5-6 hours, use an immersion blender to puree your apple butter completely.

  • Next, leave the lid off your crockpot and turn the heat to high. Allow your apple butter to cook for an additional 1-2 hours to thicken and caramelize.
    Stir every 30 minutes to prevent it from sticking to the sides.
    Store sugar free apple butter in the fridge for up to 3 weeks or the freezer for up to 1 year.
