Vegan Sourdough Cinnamon Rolls

Soft and fluffy, these vegan sourdough cinnamon rolls are made with an overnight rise. This will give you the most incredible texture!

Let’s get started!

Make a perfect dough

To get a perfect dough, it's all about adding enough flour, but not too much. Stop adding flour once dough is not sticky. 

Rise dough overnight

Rise sourdough cinnamon roll dough at room temperature for 8-12 hours.

Roll and fill

Roll out dough and top with melted vegan butter, cinnamon, and sugar.

Rise rolls again

Roll dough and cut into 7-8 pieces. Place in a baking dish. Rise again until cinnamon rolls are doubled in size.

The best fluffy texture

Do not skip the rise before baking! This is the step that will give you those fluffy air pockets. Wait till they are doubled in size then bake.

Cool rolls

Allow cinnamon rolls to cool before adding your sweet vegan icing.
