Ingredients
  

  • 1 ½ cups milk of choice (almond, oat, or dairy)
  • 1 teaspoon butterfly pea powder
  • 1 teaspoon raw honey
  • 1 teaspoon fennel seeds
  • 2 cardamom pods
  • ¼ stick cinnamon
  • 1 slice fresh ginger
  • 1-2 fresh mint leaves
  • 1 star anise pod

Instructions
 

  • In a small saucepan, heat the milk over low to medium heat. Do not let it boil.
  • Stir in the fennel seeds, cardamom pods, cinnamon stick, ginger, mint (if using), and star anise (if using). Let the mixture steep for 5-7 minutes while keeping it warm.
  • Pour the milk through a fine mesh strainer into your favorite mug to remove the solids.
  • Whisk in the butterfly pea powder until fully dissolved. The milk will take on a beautiful blue color.
  • Stir in the raw honey for a touch of natural sweetness.
