Healthy Iced Brown Sugar Oat Milk Shaken Espresso

My iced brown sugar oat milk shaken espresso is a lightened up twist on Starbucks popular oat milk shaken espresso drink! I used homemade oat milk in place of store bought oat milk and reduced the sugar. I also used high quality vanilla extract, cinnamon, and organic dark roast coffee beans for a rich bold flavored shaken espresso with much less sugar!

Ingredients
  

  • 1-2 teaspoon organic brown sugar sub pure maple syrup, date syrup, or raw honey
  • ½ teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 3 shots espresso
  • 1 cup oat milk, unsweetened can also sub milk of choice
  • Ice

How to make the lightened up Starbucks brown sugar "syrup"

  • In a small mason jar or cocktail shaker, add a couple of ice cubes, 1 tablespoon dark brown sugar, ½ teaspoon vanilla, ¼ teaspoon cinnamon, and 3 shots of espresso.
    1-2 teaspoon organic brown sugar, ½ teaspoon pure vanilla extract, ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon, 3 shots espresso
  • Cover and shake well till the sugar is dissolved.

How to make the Starbucks copycat brown sugar oat milk shaken espresso:

  • In a medium sized glass, pour the iced sweetened espresso.
  • Add more ice cubes to fill about half way.
    Ice
  • Fill to the top with oat milk.
    1 cup oat milk, unsweetened
  • Stir and enjoy!
