Blueberry Smoothie without Banana

A delicious blueberry smoothie without banana! My no banana blueberry smoothie is made with a base of sweet vanilla yogurt, a layer of fresh ripe blueberries, and vanilla chia seed pudding. Topped with a thick and creamy dairy free blueberry smoothie! A healthy breakfast smoothie recipe without banana for blueberry season you don't want to miss out on!

Ingredients
  

For the yogurt layer:

  • ½ cup Vanilla Soy milk yogurt pick the one with no added sugar

For the fruit layer:

  • ½ cup Fresh blueberries

For the dairy free chia pudding:

For the blueberry smoothie:

  • 1 cup frozen blueberries
  • ½ cup frozen cauliflower
  • cup flax milk unsweetened
  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder or collagen optional for more protein

Instructions
 

How to make the blueberry smoothie layered (as pictured):

  • Start by scooping vanilla yogurt into your jar or bowl of choice.
  • Add the layer of blueberries.
  • In a separate bowl, combine the chia seeds and ½ cup flax milk.
    Stir a couple of times to make sure the chia gels evenly.
    Scoop the chia pudding on top of the blueberries.
  • In a blender, puree the frozen blueberries, frozen cauliflower, vanilla protein powder, and ⅛ cup flax milk.
  • Spoon the smoothie on top and enjoy immediately!

How to make the blueberry smoothie without layers (everything blended):

  • Add all ingredients to a blender. Blend until smooth. You may need extra milk to get a drinkable texture.
    Pour into a tall glass.
    Enjoy!
