    WELCOME! I'M ROSEMARY, A REGISTERED DIETITIAN. I WORK WITH WOMEN OF ALL AGES USING A HOLISTIC APPROACH!

    I practice holistic nutrition, which recognizes that each woman has their own individual needs, including genetics, lifestyle, and nutrients.

    As a dietitian, I focus on mindfulness, and the learned ability to recognize what is best for you as an individual. Our bodies are connected systems, and should be looked at as a whole system, rather than individual parts.

    WHY SHOULD YOU WORK WITH A WOMAN'S REGISTERED DIETITIAN?

    Registered Dietitian's aren't your average nutritionists. They complete bachelors and even masters degrees in rigorous coursework plus an in the field program. This means at least 5-7 years of education specifically in nutrition. This work includes: medical nutrition therapy, biochemistry, life cycle nutrition, food science, and many more.

    Registered Dietitians have to pass a national examination covering many topics in nutrition science. They also have to uphold their credentials by completing yearly continuing education in the latest scientific research. This is all so we can provide YOU with a plan that best suits your needs and is based on FACT not PROMISES.

    I know there are a lot of people out there offering you fast results and advice. But please make sure they hold the credentials "RD" or "RDN."

    • Masters Degree in Nutrition Science from Syracuse University
    • Certified Dietitian Nutritionist by New York State Office of the Professions
    • Registered Dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration
    • Dietetic Internship at Syracuse University
    • Bachelor's of Science Degree in Nutrition & Dietetics from State University of New York, College at Oneonta

    1. Nourishment through food. The food we eat is the very building blocks on which we thrive. When we aren't getting the proper nourishment we see so many issues arise like depression, anxiety, digestive disorders, and many other things that we don't want!

    2. Sleep. Getting enough quality sleep is essential for your health. Chronic lack of sleep can cause mood disorders, weight gain, and hormonal imbalances. So many things can impact your ability to get a restful nights sleep like the screens blue light and high stress.

    3. Stress management. Long term stress can cause a lot of inflammation in your body. We will work together to find stress lowering techniques that are a good fit for you.

    4. Movement. Our bodies are designed to move! But many of us are stuck at a desk for the better part of our days. Together, we will find a way to incorporate enjoyable movement into your life again.

    5. Your environment. You might not realize how much of your environment ends up inside your body. From the perfume and scented candles you breathe in, to the makeup or shampoo you use. These products and household items can be laced with many harmful ingredients. We will go through them together.

    PAYMENT & INSURANCE

    If you have nutrition services covered on your insurance plan, I do not accept insurance, however, I can give you a receipt to submit to your insurance for application towards your deductible and possible reimbursement for my services. As a registered dietitian, your doctor must fax me a referral with your diagnoses for this reimbursement to happen.

    I accept FSA and HSA cards.
