TIPS TO MAKE THE BEST EVER SPICY VIRGIN MANGO MARGARITA WITH CHILI
USE UNSWEETENED KOMBUCHA. This will give you carbonation and a slightly alcohol flavor without the alcohol and sugar.
DON'T THROW AWAY LIME SLICES. Use them later for the salted rim to make the salt stick.
VERY LIGHTLY SHAKE YOUR SPICY MANGO COCKTAIL. Don't shake it too hard because the kombucha is carbonated and you don't want your drink shaker to explode all over the kitchen!
FAQ'S
Frequently asked questions about my easy mango margarita mocktail.
CAN I ADJUST THE SPICINESS IN THIS MANGO JALAPENO MOCKTAIL?
Yes! You can make this spicy mango mocktail either more spicy or less spicy with very simple adjustments.
How to make your mocktail more spicy: before pouring over ice, place your drink shaker with the jalapeno slices inside the fridge. Let the drink steep for a couple of hours. The jalapeno will slowly let its juice into the drink and you will have a much spicier mocktail!
How to make your mocktail less spicy: leave the jalapeno slices out of your drink, or only add 1 slice per glass. If you want it to be not spicy at all, leave out the jalapeno, and leave the chili powder off the rim.
CAN I MAKE THIS SPICY MANGO MARGARITA ON THE ROCKS RECIPE INTO A BLENDED RECIPE?
Yes! All you have to do is add all of the ingredients into your blender and blend instead of pouring the mixture from the drink shaker over ice.
How to make your on the rocks mocktail into a blended mocktail: in a blender, add juice of 2 limes, 8 oz mango nectar, 8 oz kombucha, 1-2 slices of jalapeno, and 2 cups of ice. Blend until completely combined.
Pour your blended mango mocktail into the glass lined with chili salt and enjoy!
HOW DO I MAKE A MANGO MARGARITA WITH TAJIN?
Tajin is another way to spice up your mango margarita. Add the tajin right into the shaker along with the rest of your ingredients.
HOW TO MAKE MY SPICY MANGO MARGARITA MOCKTAIL
Start by adding the juice of 2 limes, 8 oz mango nectar, 8oz kombucha, and jalapeno slices to a drink shaker.
Don't throw away your lime slices just yet! You're going to use these for the salted rim.
Lightly shake your drink. Don't shake it too hard because the kombucha is carbonated and you don't want your drink shaker to explode all over the kitchen!

HOW TO SALT THE RIM OF YOUR MARGARITA GLASS
Now, make your chili salt mixture.
I like to mix it on a small plate. If you have extra chili salt leftover throw it in a tupperware and save it for the next time you make drinks!
Take those lime skins you saved and run them along the top edge of the margarita glass.
Now roll the glass on top of the salt mixture to totally coat the rim.
Pour your kombucha mixture into your margarita glass over ice.
Enjoy! Your liver will thank you later!

Spicy Mango Margarita Mocktail
Equipment
- Drink shaker
- 2 margarita glasses
Ingredients
For the spicy mango margarita:
- Juice of 2 limes
- 8 oz mango nectar
- 8 oz plain
kombucha - 1-2 slices jalapeno, with seeds removed
- 2 cups ice cubes
For the spicy salt rim
- 1 teaspoon salt for the rim
- ¼ teaspoon chili powder for the rim
Instructions
For the spicy mango margarita:
- In a drink shaker, add the juice of 2 limes, mango juice, kombucha, and jalapeno. Lightly shake to combine.
- For an extra-spicy drink: add more jalapeno slices and allow them to steep into the drink in the shaker for a few hours! For a less spicy drink: this drink is still super delicious without jalapeno and the chili powder on the rim gives that little kick of spice! Or, you can make this non-spicy and leave the jalapeno & chili powder out completely.
To serve:
- In a shallow dish or plate, mix the salt and chili powder. Use the juiced lime to run along the top edge of each margarita glass (this helps the salt mixture stick). Roll the edge of the glass in the salt/chili powder mixture.
- Add ice cubes to each glass.
- Pour your margarita over the ice and enjoy!

Totally feel you on this! I actually do not like the way my body feels after I drink alcohol and I honestly don't even remember the last time I had a sip. Not to say I've sworn it off but I just prefer juice over alcohol LOL! This mango mocktail looks so amazing and I love the jalapenos!

Me too! I wake up feeling still tired! And really, we don't need alcohol at all. I am the same way, I may have it once in awhile on a special occasion, but if there is a nice drink like this as an option I'd go for that!

Pretty tasty. I juiced a mango instead of buying the juice. I put 3-4 tablespoons of the mango extract in a shaker cup with ice, and topped it off with lime juice, light ginger beer and soda water. Tajin rim as well. Cucumber Jalapeno mocktail is also the bomb!!
