HOW DO YOU MAKE A DUNKIN REFRESHER AT HOME
step 1 brew iced green tea
First, I made cold brew green tea overnight. I used 4 green tea bags in 4 cups of room temperature water and then refrigerated it overnight. You can use either decaf or regular green tea!
In a time pinch, use store bought already brewed green tea, or brew hot green tea and let it cool to room temperature.
step 2 blend
In your blender add 2 cups of green tea, ¼ cup dragon fruit, ¼ cup strawberries, and 1-2 tablespoons honey or agave if using.
If you are making a creamy coconut milk strawberry dragon fruit refresher add ¼-1/2 cup coconut milk to your blender too.
Blend until the fruit is pureed into the tea.
step 3 pour
Fill a large glass with ice cubes. Add another ½ cup of diced pink dragon fruit. Pour the refresher over the ice and dragon fruit.
Enjoy!
FAQ's
What kind of coconut milk do I use to make a creamy refresher?
I buy a carton of coconut milk found in the refrigerator section. There's no need to use the can of full fat coconut milk in this recipe. I tried it will full fat coconut milk and it did not blend into a creamy tea and little chunks of coconut milk were floating in my drink.
Should I use fresh or frozen fruit?
I used frozen and then thawed strawberries and dragon fruit. I like using thawed because they release more sweet juice than fresh does.
Should I use decaf or regular green tea in a refresher?
I used decaf because I wanted an afternoon drink without caffeine! But, if you want an energizing refresher, use regular green tea that contains caffeine.

I think I will leave out the coconut milk next time, it was a bit over powering. My daughter is addicted to Dunkin Refreshers and I thought if I could nail this I’d save a lot of $. That said, it didn’t suck, just was too frozen and maybe I shouldn’t have added so much ice to the blender but just served it over ice. I just used bottled green tea.
Rosemary
Definitely make it without the ice in the blender next time, it will not be frozen if you just use fruit, green tea, and coconut milk!
Vernon J
There is no sweet/unsweet version at Dunkin'
Meg
Tastes like green tea. Also was brown so I added pink dye
Rosemary
It shouldn't be brown, did you use the dragon fruit?
Sam

I am not a Green tea fan so when I go to Dunkin I order the refresher with lemonade instead of green tea so in this recipe I added lemonade, dragon fruit, and strawberry I also left out the coconut milk I just didn’t have it. It does not really look like the drink nor does it taste like the drink but omg it does taste amazing!! Highly recommend
Emma
Is there a substitute for coconut milk and the tea?

I followed the recipe and went out and bought the ingredients I didn’t have and it personally didn’t taste the best but it was decent. The recipe was way to much for one person to drink in my opinion. It also doesn’t say in the recipe when to add the honey.

Doesn’t taste like Dunkin refresher at all!
Rosemary
Sorry! It's supposed to be a healthier version with less sweetener but you can add more sweetener so it tastes super sweet like Dunkins!
