MY COPYCAT STARBUCKS WHITE CHOCOLATE MACADAMIA CREAM COLD BREW INGREDIENTS
I made my Starbucks white chocolate macadamia cream cold brew cold foam with just a few simple ingredients. Does it still have sugar? Yes, but is there all the nasty preservatives and chemicals? No!
If you're craving a treat or love your iced coffee, you don't have to skip it to be healthy. I practice moderation in everything and don't believe you should have to give up your favorite foods and drinks..
But, I do believe in making them with as simple ingredients as possible and no chemicals and never anything artificial!
Here's what I added in my Starbucks macadamia cold brew recipe:
- Ice cubes
- Cold brew coffee from organic coffee beans
- 1 tablespoon Homemade macadamia nut syrup (1 cup macadamia nuts, 1 cup sugar, 1 cup water)
- 2 tablespoons organic heavy cream
- 1 tablespoon flaxseed milk (use any kind of milk that you like)
- 1 more tablespoon macadamia nut syrup
- 1 tablespoon melted white chocolate chips (I use Ghirardelli which test one of the lowest in lead contamination)

If you're wondering what the Starbucks macadamia cold foam tastes like, I'd describe it as a light and fluffy sweet whipped cream with subtle notes of nut. If you love hazelnuts, macadamia nuts, and Brazil nuts you'll love the flavor of Starbucks macadamia syrup.

I'm so happy that Starbucks macadamia came back in 2024, but after I read the ingredient label, I had to make a homemade version!
HOW TO MAKE MACADAMIA SYRUP FOR YOUR COFFEE
Starbucks macadamia syrup is made with sugar, water, natural flavors (macadamia nuts), salt, potassium sorbate, and citric acid.
I wanted to make something a bit more natural. If you avoid sugar entirely, you can easily substitute honey, agave, or even maple syrup. Just keep in mind maple syrup will give it a more brown sugar maple flavor.
My Starbucks Macadamia Syrup Copycat Recipe:
- 1 cup organic cane sugar
- 1 cup filtered water
- 1 cup organic macadamia nuts
Add all 3 ingredients to a small saucepan. Heat on high heat, stirring until you see that the sugar is dissolved. Once the water begins to boil, reduce the heat to low and simmer for about 10-15 minutes. Turn off the heat and let your homemade macadamia nut syrup cool before straining.
Letting the syrup cool with the nuts still in it will give you a rich macadamia flavor.
Once your macadamia nut simple syrup is cooled, strain it into a glass jar, cover with a tight fitting lid and store in your fridge up to 2 weeks. You can use it in your macadamia cold brew, desserts, and even cocktails or mocktails!
HOW TO MAKE WHITE CHOCOLATE CREAM COLD FOAM
Starbucks macadamia cold cream is made with cream, mono and diglycerides, carrageenan, milk, sugar, water, natural flavors, potassium sorbate, citric acid, condensed skim milk, coconut oil, cocoa butter, salt, and citric acid.
I made my homemade white chocolate macadamia cold foam with few ingredients as possible and it still tastes just as delicious!
White Chocolate Macadamia Cream Cold Foam Ingredients:
- 2 tablespoons organic heavy cream
- 1 tablespoon flaxseed milk (any milk will work)
- 1 tablespoon macadamia syrup from above
- 1 tablespoon melted white chocolate
Add all 4 ingredients to a jar and use a milk frother to whip till it is thick and foamy. Don't overwhip because cold foam is not as thick as whipped cream.
Pour over your iced cold brew coffee and enjoy!

- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup macadamia nuts
White Chocolate Macadamia Cold Foam:
- 2 tablespoon heavy cream
- 1 tablespoon melted white chocolate

- 1 tablespoon macadamia nut syrup
White Chocolate Macadamia Cream Cold Foam Cold Brew:
- 1 cup ice cubes
- 1 ½ cups cold brew coffee

Instructions
How to Make Macadamia Nut Syrup:
- In a saucepan add the sugar, water, and macadamia nuts. Heat on high until sugar is dissolved and water begins to boil.Reduce heat to low and simmer for 10 minutes, uncovered.Turn off the heat and let the macadamia nut syrup cool completely.Strain nuts out through a fine mesh strainer into a glass jar.Store in the fridge up to 2 weeks.
How to Make White Chocolate Macadamia Cold Foam:
- In a jar, add the heavy cream, melted white chocolate, milk of choice, and some of the macadamia syrup from above.
- Use a milk frother to whip together until the texture is a thick foam, but not as thick as whipped cream.

- In a glass, add ice cubes, cold brew coffee, and macadamia nut syrup. Stir to combine.
