    Dunkin Brown Sugar Cookie Cold Foam Cold Brew

    Dunkin brown sugar cookie cold foam cold brew copycat. Such a long name right! I just tried the new dunkin cold foam cold brew and it was so good! So I just had to make a copycat version at home.

    I typically don't eat much dairy since I'm pretty dairy sensitive, so I've created 2 versions of this brown sugar cookie cold foam. One is a classic cold foam with heavy cream and sweetener. The other is a dairy free cold foam with coconut milk.

    I also made the dairy free cold foam without any refined sugar for those of you who are looking for a healthy alternative to sweet cold foam! The dairy free version is also made with a base of black cold brew instead of sweetened cold brew. So it can be totally sugar free.

    WHAT IS THE BROWN SUGAR COOKIE COLD FOAM COLD BREW MADE OF?

    Dunkin brown sugar cookie cold foam cold brew is made of a sweetened cold brew coffee, and then topped with a sweet vanilla cold foam and cinnamon mixture.

    My homemade brown sugar cookie cold foam cold brew is made of lightly sweetened cold brew coffee, then topped with a homemade organic cold foam and cinnamon.

    Brown Sugar Cookie Cold Brew Cold Foam with Cream - Large

    Ingredients:

    Cold Brew Coffee: Steeped 100% Arabica Coffee; Light Cream: Milk, Cream, Disodium Phosphate (Stabilizer), Sodium Citrate (Stabilizer);


    Brown Sugar Cookie Flavored Syrup: Brown Sugar, Water, Invert Sugar, Molasses, Contains 2% or less of: Natural Flavor, Potassium Sorbate
    (Preservative);

    Sweet Cold Foam: Nonfat Milk, Sugar, Cream, Contains 2% or less of: Soy Lecithin, Salt, Natural Flavor;

    Topping: Sugar, Cinnamon, Cinnamon Oil. (from dunkin company site)

    Brown Sugar Cookie Cold Brew Cold Foam with Cream- Large

    Ingredients:

    Cold Brew Coffee: Steeped organic Coffee; Maple Syrup, Pure Vanilla Extract;

    Brown Sugar Cookie Flavored Syrup: Maple Syrup, Pure Vanilla Extract, Sea Salt;

    Sweet Cold Foam: Heavy Cream, Organic Vanilla Soy Milk, Maple Syrup, Pure Vanilla Extract.

    Topping: Cinnamon.

    HOW CAN I MAKE COFFEE HEALTHIER?

    First of all, look at the ingredients above. Even if you put the sugar aside, it still has a lot of artificial ingredients, preservatives included.

    So if you were to make a sweet coffee with cream and sugar at home, it will already be healthier when you choose high quality organic ingredients. You'll be putting less stress on your liver to process those preservatives.

    Then, you can go a step further and make your coffee even healthier by using unrefined sugar alternatives, like maple syrup or honey; and using organic cream.

    I don't think a little bit of heavy cream is unhealthy. In fact, the fat in the cream can help your body absorb other nutrients. And it has what's called "pre-formed vitamin A" which helps convert plant vitamin A (the stuff in orange vegetables & greens) to active vitamin A.

    The problem usually comes in when we use a LOT of cream, instead of just a tablespoon or two. But, if you avoid dairy all together, you can use a full fat coconut milk in place of the heavy cream.

    Yes, Dunkin cold foam cold brew is made with sugar. A size large brown sugar cookie cold foam cold brew has a whopping 51 grams of sugar.

    The size large cold brew with sweet cold foam has 230 calories and 18 grams of sugar.

    How can I make a dairy free sweet cold foam?

    Dairy free brown sugar cookie cold foam is soo easy to make! All you have to do is chill 1 can of full fat coconut milk in the fridge overnight.

    Then, the next day, whip together 2 tablespoons chilled coconut milk (will be very dense), 2 tablespoons dairy free milk of choice, and the other ingredients below!

    HOW TO MAKE DUNKIN BROWN SUGAR COOKIE COLD FOAM COLD BREW AT HOME

    The brown sugar cold foam is so easy to make! I started by making a simple brown sugar cookie syrup. I used maple syrup to get that brown sugar taste, and then added just a bit of vanilla and a tiny bit of sea salt for a cookie taste.

    You can adjust this to how you like it, so double the syrup if you like sweeter coffee. Or, add ½ the syrup to the coffee and mix ½ the syrup to the cold foam, like I did. It's totally customizable!

    How to make dunkin copycat brown sugar cookie syrup:

    In a small dish, whisk together 1 tablespoon pure maple syrup, ½ teaspoon vanilla extract, and a pinch of sea salt.

    How to make dunkin copycat brown sugar cookie cold foam:

    You can make either sweet cold foam, or unsweetened cold foam with just the milk, cream, and vanilla.

    To make the cold foam, add 2 tablespoons heavy cream, 2 tablespoons milk of choice, ½ tablespoon maple syrup, and ½ teaspoon vanilla extract to a frothing cup. Use a milk frother to whip into a thick foam.

    How to make a dunkin copycat brown sugar cookie cold foam cold brew:

    Now to put it all together!

    1- Fill a cup to the top with ice (less ice if you like it that way)

    2- Add cold brew coffee ¾+ way up the cup

    3- Add the brown sugar cookie syrup, mix into the coffee

    4- Pile the sweet cold foam on top

    5- Sprinkle with cinnamon

    HOW TO MAKE DUNKIN DAIRY FREE COLD FOAM AT HOME

    Do everything the same as above, except for 1 step- replace the 2 tablespoons of heavy cream with 2 tablespoons of chilled full fat coconut milk.

    I put a can of full fat coconut milk in the fridge overnight and the next day, it whips perfectly into a dairy free cold foam!

    For the brown sugar cookie syrup:

    • 1 tablespoon pure maple syrup
    • ½ teaspoon pure vanilla extract
    • pinch pink sea salt

    For the sweet cream cold foam:

    • 2 tablespoon organic heavy cream dairy free substitute chilled full fat coconut milk
    • 2 tbsp milk of choice I used organic vanilla soy milk
    • ½ tablespoon pure maple syrup optional
    • ½ teaspoon pure vanilla extract

    For the cold brew coffee:

    • 1-2 cups organic cold brew coffee

    • In a small bowl, whisk together the maple syrup, vanilla extract, and salt. Set aside.

    How to make sweet vanilla cream cold foam:

    • In a milk frothing cup, add heavy cream, milk of choice, maple syrup, and vanilla extract.
    • Use a milk frother to whip the cream until it is thick and foamy.

    How to make brown sugar cookie cold foam cold brew coffee:

    • Fill a cup with ice.
    • Pour in cold brew coffee to ¾ the way up or more.
    • Add the brown sugar cookie syrup. Mix into the coffee.
    • Pour cold foam on top of the coffee.
    • Sprinkle with cinnamon.
    • Enjoy!

      I can't stand the taste of maple syrup, so I'm hesitant to give this a try. Can you taste the maple when you make this? I would love to give it a try since I loved the Dunkin' version.

      I don't taste the maple syrup, but if you want to be on the safe side you can add honey instead! Hope you love it!

      For anyone questioning the maple syrup(I'm with u), I'm certain molasses would be the go to since that's where brown sugar gets its flavor. Hope that helps.
