Homemade gummies with grass fed beef gelatin! If you love gummy worms and gummy bears but aren't a fan of the long ingredient list, make my 2 ingredient homemade gummy worms!
These gummies can be made into homemade 2 ingredient gummy bears, homemade gummy worms, anything. The shape of your homemade gummies will depend on the mold you use. If you don't have a mold simply pour them into a long sheet tray and then slice into squares once cool.
This is the best homemade gummy recipe I've tried and in the past week I've already made it 3 times! My two year old absolutely loves helping me make (and eat them!).

HEALTHY HOMEMADE GUMMY INGREDIENTS
My easy homemade gummy recipe take only 2 ingredients and are SO healthy for you.
- 8 cups Fruit of choice (I like watermelon & strawberries because they have a high water content)
- 5 tablespoons Grass fed beef gelatin
And that is it! I think the fruit sweetens the gummies nicely, you don't need any sugar not even honey! But, if you do like your gummies on the very sweet side you can add some raw honey after they start to cool so that you can retain all the honey benefits.
WHAT ARE THE MAIN INGREDIENTS IN GUMMY WORMS?
Store bought gummy worms, yuck! I won't even go down the candy aisle anymore after I found out the ingredients. If you don't know, now you know:
Corn Syrup, Sugar, Gelatin, Modified Food Starch (Corn), Fumaric Acid, Lactic Acid, Citric Acid, Sodium Citrate, Calcium Lactate, Sodium Lactate, Natural and Artificial Flavors, Titanium Dioxide [Color], Yellow 5, Red 40, Yellow 6, Blue 1.

HEALTHY BENEFITS OF HOMEMADE GELATIN GUMMY WORMS
I made my homemade gummies with grass fed beef gelatin for the most benefits and the lowest amount of chemicals. Buy grass fed if possible.
- Watermelon provides a refreshing and hydrating base for the gummy worms, offering a rich source of vitamins, particularly vitamin C, and antioxidants that support skin health and immune function.
- Grass-fed beef gelatin adds essential amino acids, promoting joint and gut health while aiding in collagen production for improved skin and hair.
HOW TO MAKE GUMMY WORMS (OR BEARS) AT HOME WITH JUST 2 INGREDIENTS!
2 ingredient gummy worms are SO easy to make at home and so much healthier than the store bought. If you're a mom like me, you're constantly looking for ways to get your child to eat healthier. These homemade gummies are sure to be a hit with your kids!
STEP 1: BLEND FRUIT OF CHOICE (I USED WATERMELON)
In your blender, add 8 cups fruit of choice. I used 8 cups of frozen watermelon I had leftover from the summer and thawed it. If you are using frozen fruit for your homemade gummy worms, make sure to thaw out the fruit completely.
You can use any kind of fruit that you like, however, I would suggest to use juicy fruits like watermelon, strawberries, and other varieties of melon.
Blend on high until your fruit is completely smooth and pureed.
STEP 2: STRAIN FRUIT AND ADD GELATIN
Strain your watermelon, or fruit of choice, through a fine mesh strainer into a large bowl. Discard the pulp.
Transfer half of the juice to a saucepan and heat over low heat. You want to warm it, but not bring it to a boil or even a simmer.
Sprinkle 5 tablespoons of grass fed beef gelatin across the top of the juice left in the bowl. Allow the gelatin to soak up the juice completely.
STEP 3: HEAT AND THEN POUR INTO MOLDS
Whisk the gelatin into the juice and then add it to the saucepan. Whisk until the gelatin is just dissolved, then pour into your favorite gummy molds. I used a variety of ice cube trays, gummy worms, and gummy bear molds.
Place in the fridge for about 2 hours up to overnight to set.
Store in an airtight container for up to 1 week!
