Peach Blueberry Smoothie Bowl. A delicious thick and creamy smoothie bowl will use summer peaches and blueberries! My peach blueberry smoothie bowl recipe tastes just like a peach pie!

Smoothie bowls are my favorite thing to make year round, especially in the summer when the hot summer months have you craving a cold breakfast. Smoothie bowls are so much more than just blended up fruit, and they are so healthy for you.

My peach blueberry smoothie bowl recipe is excellent for breakfast, snack or even a dessert to cool you off in the evening. This smoothie bowl recipe is dairy free and vegan friendly. But as always, you can add any milk that you like!

    ASK THE DIETITIAN,

    ARE SMOOTHIE BOWLS ACTUALLY HEALTHY?

Yes! Smoothie bowls are super healthy for you. They are an excellent way to get in extra servings of fruit, which are loaded with fiber and antioxidants. Add protein and healthy fats and you have a perfectly balanced meal.

    Health benefits of the ingredients:

    • Peach- rich in vitamin A, vitamin C and B vitamins. Eat them with the skin on to get the most fiber and nutritional benefits.
    • Blueberries- are extremely rich in antioxidants and help fight inflammation all over your body!
    • Protein powder- helps to make this smoothie bowl a complete meal. Choose unsweetened (no artificial sweeteners either!) for the healthiest option.
    • Milk- adds calcium vitamin D and healthy fats to your bowl. Always choose unsweetened milks if you're using plant based milk.

TIPS TO MAKE A PEACH BLUEBERRY SMOOTHIE BOWL THICK AND CREAMY

Use only frozen fruit. Frozen fruit is key to getting a thick smoothie bowl texture!

Don't add a lot of liquid. Only start with about ⅛ cup milk per 1 cup frozen fruit. Adding too much milk will make your smoothie bowl thin and soup like.

Enjoy immediately! Smoothie bowls are not meant to be stored and best eaten right after you blend!

HOW TO MAKE A PEACH BLUEBERRY SMOOTHIE BOWL WITH NO BANANA

My smoothie bowl is so easy to make! I get a lot of questions about what type of blender is best. It is true more expensive blenders like vitamix and ninja typically blend faster and more efficiently. But with a little extra time, any blender will work.

STEP 1- add ingredients to your blender

    In you blender add,

    • 2 cups frozen peaches
    • 1 cup frozen blueberries
    • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
    • ½ cup milk of choice

    STEP 2- blend

Blend your peach smoothie bowl until there are no chunks of fruit left.

    STEP 3- scoop and top

Scoop your peach blueberry smoothie bowl in to a bowl. Add your favorite toppings and enjoy immediately! It is really as easy to make as that!

WHAT TOPPINGS CAN YOU PUT ON A SMOOTHIE BOWL?

You can add anything from nuts, seeds, granola, fruit, nut butters and more. For the healthiest smoothie bowl toppings, make sure to always use unsweetened toppings.
