Golden Milk Smoothie Bowl! My delicious creamy mango smoothie bowl with turmeric is so good I had to share it with you guys. All you need for this golden milk smoothie bowl is mango, turmeric powder, and full fat coconut milk.

I used my homemade golden milk latte mix in this delicious smoothie bowl, so if you don't have it, this can be easily made at home with common spices like turmeric, cinnamon, and more.

I also used frozen full fat coconut milk ice cubes. All you need to do to make those is pour a can of full fat coconut milk evenly between silicone of flexible ice cube trays. Freeze until solid and these coconut milk ice cubes are great to make smoothies more thick and creamy.

    GOLDEN MILK SMOOTHIE BOWL INGREDIENTS

    • Frozen mango
    • Frozen coconut milk
    • Coconut milk
    • Turmeric powder

IS TURMERIC IN A SMOOTHIE GOOD FOR YOU?

Yes! Turmeric is healthy for you no matter what way you choose to eat it. A smoothie or a smoothie bowl is an excellent way to eat turmeric.

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF EATING SMOOTHIE BOWLS WITH TURMERIC?

    • Anti-inflammatory
    • High in antioxidants
    • Anti-cancer
    • Helps improve skin health
    • Great for gut health!

TIPS TO MAKE A THICK GOLDEN MANGO TURMERIC SMOOTHIE BOWL

USE FROZEN MANGO! I always use frozen fruit in my thick smoothie bowls, never use fresh fruit plus ice or you will have a smoothie bowl that is not very smooth and icy instead.

USE FROZEN COCONUT MILK! I loved using frozen coconut milk for this first time in my golden milk smoothie bowl. Try freezing coconut milk in ice cube trays for this one!

BLEND TILL TOTALLY SMOOTH! Keep blending until you see no frozen mango or coconut milk left.

HOW TO MAKE MY GOLDEN MILK SMOOTHIE BOWL

My mango smoothie bowl with turmeric is SO easy to make and feels so good to eat!

STEP 1 add all ingredients to blender

First, add 2 cups of frozen mango chunks, about ½ cup frozen coconut milk ice cubes (4 large cubes). If you don't have frozen coconut milk just add a bit more frozen mango instead.

Add 2 teaspoons of turmeric golden milk powder, and ½ cup full fat coconut milk.

    STEP 2 blend

Start your blender on low, keep pushing frozen fruit down towards the blades until your golden milk smoothie is completely smooth!

    STEP 3 serve

Scoop the golden milk smoothie into a bowl. Add your favorite toppings and enjoy!

    Topping ideas that I love:

    • Fresh mango chunks
    • Fresh sliced banana
    • Coconut flakes
    • Hemp seeds
    • Cashew butter

HOW TO MAKE IT A SMOOTHIE INSTEAD OF A SMOOTHIE BOWL

For a golden milk smoothie, simply add all the above ingredients to your blender, and add about 1 cup extra milk or milk of choice. Blend until totally smooth, pour into a glass and enjoy!
