Green Smoothie Bowl No Banana. My thick green smoothie bowl is made with frozen mango, pineapple, avocado and no banana! I added a bit of moringa and green spirulina for an extra healthy kick!

My Thick Green Smoothie Bowl Recipe with no banana is:

    • Super thick and creamy!
    • Easy to make
    • Excellent for gut health
    • Excellent for weight loss
    • Made with no banana

This super greens avocado smoothie bowl without banana is a classic green smoothie with a twist! I made it into a thick nice-cream texture smoothie bowl all without banana, which are usually used!

I used a super greens powder in my green smoothie bowl recipe. If you don’t have a powder at home, you can easily substitute baby kale or baby spinach.

WHAT DOES A GREEN SMOOTHIE BOWL WITH NO BANANA TASTE LIKE?

My green smoothie bowl without banana is super sweet and satisfying! Surprisingly you will taste the sweet flavor of mango and pineapple and not taste any of the greens.

ARE GREEN SMOOTHIE BOWLS WITHOUT BANANA HEALTHY?

Yes! Greens are amazing for your liver health! They can help increase the enzymes that are involved in the detoxification process. This means, greens help your body get the toxins out easier!

    Ingredients:

    • Mango is high in antioxidants, fiber, and beta carotene for healthy skin!
    • Pineapple has a special antioxidant called bromelain, powerful all over your body!
    • Avocado is a superfood for a reason- rich in healthy fats, fiber, and many vitamins.
    • Moringa powder or spirulina powder- both are excellent for liver health!
    • Coconut milk (unsweetened)- rich in potassium and medium chain fats.

HOW TO MAKE A SUPER THICK GREEN SMOOTHIE BOWL WITHOUT BANANA

Super thick smoothie bowls are so easy!! All it takes is frozen fruit and barely any liquid. That is the secret!

Step 1: make the no banana smoothie bowl

Start by putting the frozen mango, frozen pineapple, avocado, collagen, and super greens powder (or moringa, spirulina powder) in the blender. Turn the blender on and process it. If it is looking kind of “dry,” add a splash of milk.

Use your tamper to push frozen fruit down towards the blades. If you don't have a tamper, simply stop the blender a few times and stir it.

Blend until your green smoothie bowl has no frozen fruit chunks left.

    Step 2: Add your toppings

Scoop your thick green smoothie bowl into your favorite bowl. I love using coconut bowls because for some reason they slow the smoothie bowl from melting!

Add your favorite toppings! I used kiwi balls, granola, and bee pollen on mine. Most people like fresh fruit and a bit of crunch on their smoothie bowls, like granola or nuts.

    FAQ'S

More frequently asked questions about my thick green smoothie bowl recipe without banana.

WHAT GREENS ARE THE BEST FOR SMOOTHIE BOWLS?

Most recipes will call for raw kale or raw spinach, but these fresh leafy greens have a high water content and will quickly melt your creamy delicious smoothie bowl into a soupy texture.

Instead, when making thick smoothie bowls, either use frozen spinach, frozen kale, frozen avocado, or my favorite: super greens powder.

Yes! Smoothie bowls are an excellent way to pack in fruits and vegetables. Make sure you are eating 8-10 cups of fresh or frozen fruits/ vegetables every day.

DO SMOOTHIE BOWLS WITHOUT BANANA HELP YOU POOP?

Yes! Green smoothies are high in soluble fiber, which really helps to move things along. 🙂

IS A NO BANANA SMOOTHIE BOWL LOW CALORIE?

Yes! Not only are they low in dense calories, but they are high in many nutrients and fiber, all of which help to speed up your metabolism.
