    ALMOND PULP BANANA BREAD INGREDIENTS

    • Flour- I've used all-purpose, gluten free, whole wheat, and white wheat. Take your pick! 🙂
    • Ground cinnamon & nutmeg- adds amazing aroma and flavor to this almond pulp bread.
    • Sea salt- a little salt helps enhance bread flavor and helps it leaven properly!
    • Baking soda & powder- needed so you don't end up with flat bread!
    • Ripe banana- make sure your banana is extra ripe for the sweetest and strongest banana flavor.
    • Egg- helps hold everything together!
    • Almond pulp- make sure you have patted it very dry in an old towel!
    • Honey- adds a little extra sweetness to this bread.. you can leave it if you want sugar free almond pulp bread, my recipe only calls for ¼ cup!
    • Vanilla extract- pure vanilla adds an amazing flavor to any bread recipe!

    WHAT DOES IT TASTE LIKE?

Almond pulp banana bread tastes very similar to a classic banana bread, with a heartier flavor thanks to the almond pulp. Almond pulp bread is a little more dense than classic banana bread since almond pulp is very heavy.

HOW TO USE UP ALMOND PULP

If you frequently make homemade almond milk, or almond milk creamer, then you probably have been looking for easy almond pulp recipes!

TIPS TO MAKE THE BEST ALMOND PULP BREAD RECIPE!

Dry almond pulp out very well! Make sure your almond pulp is very dry. Squeeze out all excess water and even let it sit out for an hour or two to let even more water out. Wet almond pulp will weigh down your almond pulp bread!

Mix batter till just combined. Don't over mix any quick bread batter! Over mixing your almond pulp bread will result in chewy gummy bread.

Add nuts for some crunch! Add your favorite nuts like pecans, walnuts, pumpkin seeds and more!

MAKE MY EASY ALMOND PULP BANANA BREAD

Preheat your oven and grab a mixing bowl. Let's make this super easy almond pulp bread in one bowl!

STEP 1- sift together dry ingredients

First, sift together your dry almond pulp with the other dry ingredients in a mixing bowl:

    • ¾ cup flour of choice
    • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
    • ¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg
    • ½ teaspoon sea salt
    • ½ teaspoon baking soda
    • 1 teaspoon baking powder

    STEP 2- add wet ingredients

Form a well in the center of the dry ingredients. Add the wet ingredients to the center:

    • 2 ripe mashed bananas
    • 1 egg
    • 1 cup almond pulp
    • ¼ cup honey
    • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

STEP 3- mix wet into dry and bake!

Mix until just combined. Fold in ½ cup chopped walnuts or any other nut!

Pour your almond pulp bread batter into a parchment paper lined loaf pan.

Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.

    Cool before slicing.

    Enjoy!

This recipe looks amazing! I’m always looking for stuff to use with almond pulp. Has anyone tried this with almond flour? Or a Paleo alternative?

I made this today and it was lovely.
I don’t buy flour but I have gluten free oats, I ground them up to resemble flour .( I didn’t sieve this and it was fine )
I did do extra as I just made my almond milk and squeezed as much liquid out from it as possible and as it wasn’t an almost dry mix the extra oat flour came in handy . It took a bit longer to cook in my oven it is old .
I’m collecting recipes using almond meal and this is definitely a favourite.
