Dalgona Coffee. I love making fun coffee drinks sometimes and my whipped coffee recipe just hits the spot! My vegan dalgona coffee is made with soy milk and piled high with sweet whipped coffee.

My Iced Dalgona Coffee Recipe with Soy Milk is:

    • Super delicious
    • A fun coffee treat
    • Gluten Free
    • Dairy Free
    • Vegan

Dalgona coffee is all over the internet right now. Being a coffee lover, I just had to find out just how good it is for myself. And oh my gosh. This drink is not disappointing. It has a surprisingly delicious flavor even though it's made with instant coffee. Add a dash of cinnamon for a warm and fragrant flavor.

HOW TO MAKE DALGONA ICED COFFEE

Start by adding the sugar, instant coffee and cinnamon to a medium sized mixing bowl.

If you don't like using granulated sugar, you can substitute coconut sugar or even maple syrup. I used organic raw cane sugar in my whipped coffee.

Pour your boiling water in and start beating it with a hand held mixer.

using a hand held blender to beat the boiling water into the instant coffee powder and sugar

    And beat..

continuing to whip the coffee with a blender in a blue bowl

    And beat..

the coffee now is starting to get some volume

    Keep beating your coffee...

the whipped coffee is almost done it has tripled in size by whipping it with the beaters

Okay maybe I'm exaggerating it only takes a few minutes to achieve the frothy texture.

If you don't have electric beaters, you can easily use a milk frother or even a wire whisk to mix your whipped coffee.

Add ice cubes and milk to a mason jar. I used vanilla soy milk.

Finally, the moment we have been waiting for... scoop your fluffy coffee on top of the milk.

    Stir it in a bit.

See how it magically divides into 3 layers a few minutes later.

Hope you enjoy this delicious whipped coffee treat!

    FAQ's

CAN I MAKE DALGONA COFFEE WITH A MILK FROTHER?

Yes! You can froth the coffee with hand held beaters, a milk frother, or even a plain old wire whisk!

WHAT KIND OF MILK IS USED IN DALGONA COFFEE?

Dalgona coffee is made with regular dairy milk, but you can easily make dairy free vegan dalgona coffee with any kind of milk alternative that you want.

WHAT CAN I USE INSTEAD OF MILK IN WHIPPED COFFEE?

If you are dairy sensitive, you can really use any plant based milk that you like and still maintain that rich and creamy flavor of dalgona coffee.

CAN I MIX SOY MILK AND COFFEE?

Yes! Soy milk gives coffee (especially an iced coffee) a great naturally sweetened flavor.
