MANGO PINEAPPLE SMOOTHIE RECIPE VARIATIONS
- Make it with chia seed pudding on the bottom!
- Add your favorite yogurt or protein powder.
- Add greens for a serving of vegetables like spinach, avocado, or kale!
Step 1: make the turmeric chia seed pudding
First, make the chia seed pudding so it has time to soak while you make your smoothie. Start by combining the 2 tablespoons chia seeds, the 1 teaspoon turmeric powder, and the ½ cup milk of choice in a jar.
For the most delicious golden milk flavor in your chia pudding, you can make my golden milk mix right at home with common kitchen spices! Get the Golden Milk Latte Mix Recipe Here that you can use in chia pudding, smoothies, latte's and so much more!
Make sure you stir the chia pudding few times every 10 minutes to make sure it gels properly and does not get clumpy. Once your chia pudding is nice and thick and the chia seeds have soaked up most of the milk, set it aside while you prepare your pineapple mango smoothie.
Step 2: make the mango pineapple smoothie with milk
While your chia pudding continues to gel, make your thick and delicious pineapple mango smoothie! I love thick smoothies because they remind me of a delicious ice cream texture. But, if you want a thinner consistency for your smoothie, simply add another 1 cup of milk.
In a blender, add:
- 1 cup frozen pineapple chunks
- 1 cup frozen mango chunks
- ¼-1/2 cup milk of choice
Start your blender on low speed and blend until it is smooth and creamy, pushing your frozen fruit down towards the blades as it blends. If you don't have a blender with a tamper, you may have to turn off your blender and stir it multiple times so all the frozen fruit blends completely.
Once your smoothie is totally smooth, pile it high on top of your chia pudding along with some fresh mango and enjoy immediately!
