This pink pitaya latte is a perfect warm drink to cozy up with! Naturally high in antioxidants and caffeine free, this pink latte can be enjoyed day or night.

    What is pink pitaya?

Pink pitaya, also called dragon fruit, is a fruit grown in south Asia and parts of south America. Pink pitaya is high in disease fighting compounds like antioxidants, fiber, and vitamin C.

What does pink pitaya powder taste like?

Pink pitaya is has a very sweet flavor, kind of like a cross between a melon and a kiwi.

Where can I buy pink pitaya powder?

You can find pink pitaya on amazon, or get the link through the shop section at the top of the page.

    Pink pitaya latte ingredients

    Pink pitaya powder.

    Maple syrup or honey.

    Milk of choice.

Collagen. The collagen is totally optional, but adds a bit more nutritional value like protein that's good for your skin!

How to make a pink pitaya latte: 2 ways

    1: With a milk frother

In a mug, mix together 1 teaspoon pink pitaya powder and 1 tablespoon maple syrup or honey. If you want to use collagen, add 1 scoop of collagen to your mug along with a splash of milk. Mix to combine well.

Next, steam 1 cup of milk. If you have an espresso machine, simply use the milk frother. Or, you can buy hand held milk frothers. You could also warm your milk in the microwave, but it won't be frothy.

Once you have your warm milk, pour half into your mug over the pink pitaya mixture and whisk to combine completely.

Pour the other half of your warm milk into your mug. Enjoy!

    2: With a blender

If you don't have a milk frother, you can easily make this pink latte with just a blender!

Instead of mixing all the ingredients in the mug, add the 1 teaspoon pink pitaya powder, 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup, and the collagen to a blender. Next, heat your milk either over the stove or in the microwave. Add your warm milk to the blender. Blend until fully combined. You will notice the blender will froth the milk a little bit.

Pour into a mug and enjoy!

Note: make sure you have a heat proof blender!
