    WHAT IS A PINA COLADA SMOOTHIE MADE OF?

    This healthy pina colada smoothie recipe takes just 3 simple ingredients!

    1. Frozen pineapple
    2. Frozen banana
    3. Coconut milk

    IS PINA COLADA GOOD FOR YOU WITHOUT ALCOHOL?

    Yes absolutely! Pina Colada Mocktails are a much healthier choice. In fact, any drink without the alcohol is going to be much better for you. Alcohol really has no nutritional benefit in your body and just sucks up the B vitamins your brain and metabolism need.

    IS PINA COLADA HEALTHY?

    A classic pina colada recipe consists of a blend of ice, pineapple juice, and coconut cream. These are not totally unhealthy ingredients. But, you can make your pina colada healthy by switching out the pineapple juice for whole pineapple and adding banana.

    TIPS FOR MAKING THE BEST HEALTHY PINA COLADA SMOOTHIE

    USE FROZEN RIPE FRUIT. Frozen ripe bananas and pineapple will give you a sweet amazing flavor with no added sugar in your pina colada.

    ADD HEMP SEEDS. These little seeds are packed with healthy fats and fiber. This will lower the blood glucose spike and also make your pina colada smoothie even healthier.

    BLEND LONG ENOUGH. Make sure no chunks of fruit remain. Keep your blender running and you might even have to scrape down the sides once or twice.

    HOW TO MAKE MY PINA COLADA SMOOTHIE MOCKTAIL!

    This delicious frozen pina colada mocktail is so delicious and easy to make!

    STEP 1: ADD ALL INGREDIENTS TO A BLENDER

    In a blender add:

    • 1 frozen banana
    • 1 cup frozen pineapple
    • 1 tablespoon hemp seeds
    • 1 ½ cups coconut milk

    If you want a pina colada smoothie with no banana, then simply replace the 1 frozen banana with 1 cup of frozen pineapple.

    STEP 2: BLEND AND POUR!

    Blend your banana pina colada smoothie until no frozen chunks of fruit remain.

    Finally, pour your pina colada smoothie into a large glass.

      Yes!! If you look up an alcoholic pina colada it is basically pineapple, crem de coconut, frozen ice and rum! Or you can make a "chi chi" and throw in a frozen banana too!
