HOW TO MAKE A MANGO DRAGON FRUIT SMOOTHIE WITH COCONUT MILK

Follow my easy mango dragon fruit smoothie tutorial for a delicious smoothie in minutes! You can make it like the original (below), with a layer of pink dragon fruit topped with a mango smoothie. Or, blend everything together into 1 pink smoothie!

STEP 1 ADD ALL INGREDIENTS TO YOUR BLENDER

Firstly, add all your ingredients to your blender. Yes, any blender will work for this easy smoothie recipe!

    • 1 cup frozen dragon fruit chunks
    • 2 cups frozen mango chunks
    • 1 tablespoon hemp seeds
    • Β½ cup yogurt of choice (I used dairy free coconut yogurt)
    • 1 Β½ cup coconut milk or coconut water

    STEP 2 BLEND SMOOTHIE

Next, it's time to fire up your blender! Firstly, start your blender on low speed, gradually increasing the speed as your smoothie becomes more creamy. Additionally, make sure to push the frozen fruit down towards the blades as you blend.

Alternatively, you can momentarily pause the blender and scrape down the sides to ensure that all the smoothie ingredients blend thoroughly and achieve a smooth consistency.

Blend until your smoothie is completely smooth and no chunks of mango or dragon fruit remain.

    STEP 3 POUR AND ENJOY!

Pour your thick smoothie and enjoy!

Customize Your Smoothie: Exciting Variations to Suit Your Taste

While my Mango Dragon Fruit Smoothie is already a delightful blend of flavors, I understand that personal preferences vary. That's why I'm excited to share some variations of this smoothie recipe that you can explore and customize to suit your taste buds.

    1. Tropical Twist: Enhance the tropical vibe by adding a splash of pineapple juice to your smoothie. The tangy sweetness of pineapple complements the mango and dragon fruit perfectly, creating a refreshing tropical medley.
    2. Creamy Coconut Bliss: If you're a coconut lover, intensify the coconut flavor by using coconut milk instead of regular milk. This addition will infuse the smoothie with a creamy and indulgent taste that will transport you to a beachside paradise.
    3. Protein Power-Up: Boost the protein content of your smoothie by adding a scoop of your favorite protein powder. This variation is ideal for those seeking a post-workout recovery drink or a satisfying meal replacement option.

Serving Suggestions and Eye-Catching Presentation Ideas

Take your enjoyment of my Mango Dragon Fruit Smoothie to the next level by exploring creative serving suggestions and presentation ideas. With a few simple touches, you can transform an already delicious smoothie into an enticing visual masterpiece.

    1. Layered Beauty: Embrace the original presentation of the smoothie by layering it in a clear glass. Start with a bottom layer of vibrant pink dragon fruit and top it off with a generous serving of the creamy mango smoothie. The contrasting colors create a visually appealing and Instagram-worthy treat.
    2. Toppings Galore: Elevate the texture and flavor by adding toppings to your smoothie. Consider sprinkling shredded coconut, chia seeds, or a handful of fresh berries on top. These toppings not only enhance the visual appeal but also add an extra burst of flavor and nutritional value.
    3. Frozen Fruit Garnish: Freeze some extra mango chunks or dragon fruit cubes and use them as decorative garnishes. Place a frozen fruit skewer or a single fruit slice on the rim of your glass for an elegant touch.

Remember, presentation is key to making your smoothie experience even more enjoyable. Get creative, have fun, and let your imagination run wild while experimenting with different serving suggestions and presentation
